Questions, bugs, or something gone wrong with a purchase — email ricoxxo@gmail.com. Inkline is made by one person, so replies usually take a day or two.
When reporting a bug, it helps enormously to include your device model, your iOS version, and the level number.
Gems are credited the moment Apple confirms the purchase. If the app was closed or lost connection mid-purchase, the transaction is finished the next time you open the game, and the gems appear then. Reopen Inkline first — that fixes it most of the time.
If they still haven’t appeared, email us with the receipt Apple sent you and we’ll sort it out.
Because gems are consumable — they’re spent when you use them. Apple doesn’t restore consumables, and a Restore button that couldn’t actually restore anything would be misleading.
What protects your gems instead is iCloud. Stay signed into iCloud and your balance follows you to a new device automatically.
Sign into the same iCloud account you used before and reopen the game. The balance syncs through iCloud key-value storage, which needs an internet connection on first launch. If it’s still wrong after a minute or two, email us.
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and find the purchase.
Same link — Apple handles these refunds directly and is usually sympathetic. To stop it happening again, go to iOS Settings → Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions → iTunes & App Store Purchases and set In-app Purchases to Don’t Allow.
You start an attempt with a life. Solve the level and you get it straight back — winning is always free. You only actually lose one if you give up, restart, or leave a level unsolved.
You hold up to 5, and one refills every 25 minutes.
Correct, and it never will. It’s free and unlimited, every day.
You can watch a rewarded video for a free life (up to 5 a day), or spend gems to refill all of them.
Swipe and the ball slides until something blocks it — a wall, the edge, or paint you’ve already laid down. Every tile you cross gets painted, and you need to cover every tile on the board.
Because your own trail blocks you, each tile can only be covered once. That’s the whole game.
You’ve painted yourself into a corner — it happens, and usually the mistake was several moves earlier than where you noticed.
Yes. Three stars means you solved it without undoing at all. One or two undos gets you two stars, three or more gets you one. Replaying a level keeps your best result.
Always. Every level is verified by a solver before it ships — a board with no solution can’t reach you.
Settings → Colour-blind mode adds a pattern to painted tiles so colour isn’t the only thing distinguishing them.
No. There are no banners and no ads between levels. The only ads in Inkline are rewarded videos you choose to watch in exchange for something, and you can play forever without seeing one.
Settings → Manage privacy choices inside the game reopens the consent form. This appears for players in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland.
Delete the app. Everything Inkline stores lives on your device.
For the small amount synced to iCloud (gems, stars, daily results), go to iOS Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage.
